Law Enforcement’s Definition of “Metadata”

In brief, “metadata” as defined by AG in the context of this video is defined as the:

  1. “name” of the (ISP’s) customer and;
  2. The duration of their connection i.e. start and end time and associated days/dates.

Therefore, the destination IP/endpoint is excluded from the above i.e. the “receiver” of the phone call if considered under the context of TIA.
